Computing at Holsworthy Community College equips students with essential digital skills and a strong understanding of how technology shapes the modern world. 

Our curriculum plans for Years 7–11 are designed to build confidence and prepare students for further study or careers in the ever-evolving tech industry.

Computing – Inclusive Practice

Inclusive practice in Computing ensures digital concepts are accessible and clearly structured ensuring that all students are able to develop their Digital Literacy skills and their Online Safety.

Examples of Adapt in Practice in Computing Lessons:

· Teachers model digital processes and safe online behaviour.

· Tasks are broken into manageable steps.

· Templates and self-paced tutorials support independent work.

· Real-world examples reinforce technical learning.

· Teachers provide regular guidance and check-ins.
