Physical Education

Physical Education at Holsworthy Community College promotes health, teamwork, and personal achievement. Through a wide range of sports and physical activities, students develop fitness, coordination, and resilience while learning the value of fair play and active lifestyles.

Our curriculum plans for Years 7–11 support physical development and wellbeing, encouraging students to participate, compete, and enjoy movement both in and beyond school.

Physical Education (PE) – Inclusive Practice

Inclusive practice in PE focuses on enjoyment, participation, and personal progress so that they can foster a love for physical education (PE) and cultivate a lifelong passion for sport and physical activity. We offer a diverse range of activities beyond traditional team sports including dance, gymnastics, cycling, fitness (yoga, zumba, boogie bounce), trampolining, badminton, table tennis, volleyball and outdoor and adventurous activities

Examples of Adapt in Practice in PE Lessons:

· A wide range of activities supports different strengths and interests.

· Teachers prioritise participation, effort, and improvement.
